The Art Gallery of Southwestern Manitoba is a non-profit, public art
gallery located in downtown Brandon. The Art Gallery offers
contemporary art exhibits of regional, national and international
significance with an emphasis on Manitoba art. The gift shop features fine crafts and art by Manitoba artisans. Tours are also available to a variety of groups along with art classes. For information about upcoming shows or classes please visit the gallery’s website.

www.agsm.caThe Assiniboine River Corridor stretches 17 km (10.5 miles) throughout the heart of the City of Brandon. The corridor includes a network of parks and pathways linked by the Red Willow Pedestrian Bridge. The trail system ranges from natural river bottom forest to paved, lit walkways and links sports venues to downtown shopping and dining. This area is home to a variety of plant and animal species and a haven for recreational activities such as hiking, cycling, bird watching and cross-country skiing. Trails totaling 17 kms are made up of loops ranging in distance from 2 to 7.5 kms. There is a warm-up hut and cook shelter available. Brandon University offers undergraduate and graduate degrees, as well as pre-professional programs in numerous areas ranging from
agriculture to dentistry and veterinary medicine. The University has a long tradition of excellence in scholarship, research and creative performance. Brandon's Community Sportsplex is home to an arena, 50m handicap-accessible swimming pool with a 104 ft. waterslide, three racquetball courts, four outdoor tennis courts, track and field facility, playground and paddlepool.
The gardens offer a beautiful setting for everyone. Some of the
features are the performance plaza, fountain plaza with a life-sized
bronze sculpture of a doe and two fawns, numerous varieties of trees
and shrubs, annuals and perennials.
Welcome to the Keystone Centre — the centre of it all! The Keystone is Western Canada’s premiere facility for recreational, entertainment,
convention and agricultural events. The Keystone Centre sits on approx. 90 acres in Brandon’s busiest commercial district and offers
540,000 square feet of multi-use space all under one roof.
The Waterfall of Lights is located along the Riverbank, south of the Assiniboine River between Eleanor Kidd Park and Queen Elizabeth Park. The Waterfall of Lights is a wintertime oasis, offering skating and cross-country skiing through beautiful light displays. This popular winter venue is lit from December until the end of February each year, weather permitting. In 1962, Manitoba Premier Duff Roblin gave the City of Brandon
permission to go ahead with plans to build an auditorium as a centennial project in 1967. Residents of Western Manitoba got their first glimpse of what the auditorium was to look like when Mayor Magnacca unveiled a model, built by Mental Hospital Industries, on April 28, 1966. The auditorium officially opened its doors in November 1969. Seldom does a building offer so much in variety and versatility in such beautiful surroundings. The auditorium showcases a variety of cultural activities and is home to ballet, classical concerts, festivals, music recitals, theatrical performances and much more. A short drive east of Brandon is Canada's largest reptile exhibit. While visiting you will be able to view over 300 reptiles including snakes, turtles, spiders, crocodiles and much more.
